Southeast Asia Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA) has given, on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of SEATCA, the “Champion of SEATCA Award”, to the People’s Health Foundation (PHF), Myanmar and Dr U Than Sein (President of PHF) for outstanding contribution to SEATCA, as a catalyst for change in the fight to end the Tobacco Pandemic, on 2 December 2021.

အရှေ့တောင်အာရှဒေသ ဆေးရွက်ကြီးထိန်းချုပ်ရေး မဟာမိတ်အဖွဲ့ (SEATCA) ၏ နှစ် ၂၀ မြောက် အစီအစဥ် အရ အရှေ့တောင်အာရှဒေသရှိ နိုင်ငံများ နှင့် လူပုဂ္ဂိုလ်များ စုစုပေါင်း (၂၈) အဖွဲ့ နှင့် လူပုဂ္ဂိုလ်များ အား ဆေးရွက်ကြီး ထိန်းချုပ်ရေး လုပ်ငန်း များ အောင်မြင်စွာ စွမ်း ဆောင် နိုင်မှု အပေါ် မူ တည်၍ “Champion of SEATCA” Awards ဆုတံဆိပ်များ ချီး မြှင့်ခဲ့ ရာတွင်၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ မှ ပြည်သူ့ ကျန်းမာရေး ဖောင်ဒေးရှင်း နှင့် ဥက္ကဌ ဒေါက်တာဦးသန်းစိန် တို့ အား ဆုချီး မြှင့် ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ပြည်သူ့ကျန်းမာရေးဖောင်ဒေးရှင်း သည် ဥက္ကဌ ဒေါက်တာဦးသန်းစိန်၏ မဟာ ဗျူဟာမြောက် အကြံပြု စီမံဦးဆောင်မှုဖြင့်၊ အရှေ့တောင်အာရှဒေသ ဆေးရွက်ကြီးထိန်း ချုပ်ရေး မဟာမိတ်အဖွဲ့ (SEATCA)နှင့် ဆေးလိပ်နှင့်ဆေးရွက်ကြီးထွက်ပစ္စည်းများ ထိန်းချုပ် ရေး လုပ်ငန်း များ အား စွမ်းစွမ်း တမံ ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက် ခဲ့သည့် အတွက် ဆုချီးမြှင့် ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ် ပါသည်။
